Connie Chung outdoes herself

For my first post, I just HAD to share this train wreck of a video with you from my dear fellow UMD J-school alum, Connie Chung. Seems her MSNBC show with her creepy cheeseball hubby Maury (what MSNBC show??!?! Oh, don’t worry; you didn’t miss anything) has been cancelled and she just HAD to sign off with a song. *sigh*

That is actually painful to watch! Maybe the lawsuit with her husband has left her self-medicating.

An excellent subject for a first blog entry. It would be my guess that more people saw the video than ever watched her show. More poignantly, it was also announced this week that Dan Rather, Ms. Chung’s former co-anchor, is leaving CBS. I can only ask what Edward R Murrow would think. But maybe I should just lighten up.
